Cleaning Your Brush

In the following steps we will describe how to clean chalk paint brush after use.

1. After you are done using the brush wipe away all the excess wax with a clean napkin.
2. Take a glass jar and pour mineral spirits into it. Get the mineral spirits to the bottom of brush bristle. let it soak in the Mineral Spirits for a minute until all the wax has melted. To speed things up, you can press the bristles against the bottom of the jar to help the process. You also can reuse Mineral Spirits for the next time you need to clean your brush.
3. Now pick up the brush from the glass jar.
4. Softly wash the brush with any mild dish detergent in warm water.
5. Force out all the water and set aside to dry and after that reserve it for next use.
