    A few weeks ago my daughter washed her comforter and left it in the machine for 3 days. Since then I couldn’t get rid of the smell of mold. I have a LG efficiency top loader washer. I used two tablets running on the clean cycle. The smell was still there. Next I took two more tablets ran it on white cycle with hot water. This seemed to do the trick. I think the smell is gone. It’s definitely 90% better.

    These tabs are easy to use, just follow the instructions. After the cleaning, I did have to use a wet cloth and scrub at mold along the very top of the washer basket, so I’m guessing it just simply doesn’t clean that high up. A good product, it sure beats hand-scrubbing out the entire basket!

    This did a great job! My washer is just over 2 years old. I live in a tropical and humid climate so things get smelly. I’ve cleaned it with bleach and while it was clean – this was much better. The drum was like new -shiny and smelled fresh. Quite happy with this product.

    I usually buy Affresh cleaner but it is kind of spendy so I thought I would try something else. I found this one, you get 25 tablets for $16.00. So I bought it, the biggest catch is with this true fresh you have to use 8-10 tablets per use. wow! that is crazy. With Affresh you only use 1 tablet per use. Affresh is 6 tablets for under $12.00. If I had known you need to use so many tablets per use, 8-10 vs just 1 per use, I would have just stayed with Affresh. What I thought was a bargain is NO bargain.

    Since we moved to a new place that has hard water we started to get a really bad smell in our machine. I came across this product and thought I would give it a try. My machine and clothes come out smelling fresh and not moldy/musty smelling any more. My recommendation if you have a front loader is to use 2 tablets in the drum of the machine and take one crush it up mix with water (careful it will foam up.) Keep adding water a little at a time until it’s in a liquid state not foam. Put that in your dispenser were you put your detergents it will help clean the lines and that area from smelling as well.

    These are so awesome and have extended the life of our washing machine. We have an old washer that has been working okay, but occasionally a mildew smell starts to take over and leave the clothes smelling funky. These tabs get rid of the issue completely. Our clothes come out fresh and clean again without the funk. They are a must have.
